ok so I know how behind I am over at my Facebook in posting pics and I am going to try my best to rememdy that before school starts.....but we'll just have to see. same day and place just not good of his blue eyes but again a great pic of his hair

this was 6-20-09 when we went Cherry picking can you see how much fun Jai had!! He got really messy then cleaned himself off in the drip lines running to the cherry trees then got really dirty and then clean again lol and didn't have one stain on his clothes at all because of all the water play right after this he took his hands and ran them through his hair so he was sportin natural cherry hair gel that day

And this was of course the 4th of July in his shirt his daddy bought him. I was a really bad picture taker this weekend because I had very limited time with family so I put down the camera and just enjoyed time with the family knowing that others would take pictures .

This was his final long hair picture befor the cut. I was trying to show how long it was but it was starting to dry so the end were curling. (ok hopefully all the pictures stayed up and then the link below is the after pics)

Our Easter...

Was GREAT well so far  yeah its not over yet my kids had spring break this week and one of the things about having a big family on both sides is that holidays last longer. Luckily my hubbys family (well parents brothers, sisters and their children) are easy to work with and since we had to be in town for our church Musical, which went great hubby had solo parts and so did Amber , I had one tiny one and Thank God it wasn't any longer I was soooo nervous. so after church we went to my Aunts house to be with my parents,grandparents Aunt, Uncle, cousin (& her daughter Mia & hubby~ oh I have to interrupt myself, this cousin (Joyce) is the one who married the K-9 Sherriff (Juan) except he isn't k-9 any more but works the streets again after helping training dogs for awhile, and their daughter is 2 1/2. When he was getting ready to leave work to come over for Easter a call came in for a 18 month old possible drowing, so he was called to go to it, he escorted the ambulance to the hosp and stayed for over an hour and a half while they worked on the baby who had fallen into a pond during an easter egg hunt and it was just the thing where one parent thought the other had the baby and neither did, the baby died and the supervisor in charge let Juan leave and said he would stay to do the paperwork. It was really hard on him and of course when he got to my Aunt's all he wanted to do was have his daughter in his lap.The ...ironic (lack of better word here) thing was a little while before he was even due at my Aunt's house my other cousin who is also a Sherriff was there having a quick lunch break and right when he was getting ready to leave over his police radio Joyce and I heard about the call and both just looked at each other like in unspoken grief for the family and prayers that the baby would be ok. anyways I have many points to this story one is please say a prayer for Juan and all the other police/emergency people that go through these things on a regular basis and also of course other points on safety which I'm sure you don't need to hear from me. this is just another reminder of how fast things can go wrong~~ ok back to before I interruppted. um oh yeah and my nephew, his mom and step-dad. lol AND all the family dogs so that is our Lili -my mom and dad's Jack, My nephew has two and my Aunt has two and Joyce brought her new puppy Cody. lol the kids had a great time not only with a childrens easter egg hunt but there was also a doggy easter egg hunt, where each kids paired with a dog and then they would lead a dog to an egg crack it open and then let the dog eat the treat and then help the dog to find more eggs yeah it was crazy but fun too lol.

Now I am getting ready to make sure all our laundry is clean and the house is too and friday we are leaving town again to go up North and have another Easter celebration with my hubby's family. and so you may ask why am I sitting here at 3:00 a.m. and not sleeping??

yeah I don't know either so I guess I will go ( really I have been going to bed earlier and the sucky thing is i feel more tired than ever before ??? how does that work. oh my body is crazy)

oh but real quick I just wanted to add that my baby is growing up ...well actually he is growing up fast, as in fast enough to have growing pains. Today we took Jaidon to the doc. he hasn't seen one in ahwile and needed a check up. so the nurse weighs him (mind you he is 3 yrs 4 months and 6 days) 52 lbs YEP and 43 1/2 inches. so as we are waiting for the N.P. to come in he starts saying owie mommy owie leg hurt. and grabs his calf muscle so I check him out and it feels really hard like its cramped up (this has been happening but usually he is walking around and we just thought he had bumped into something but this time he was sitting perfectly still before it happened) so hubby and I take turns rubbing it until he seems ok again and a few minutes later the N.P. walks in and says he's great in every way (after all her checks of course) and so we ask about it and she says he is big for his age and probably is growing more and so its growing pains and to rub or ice it when it happens, now we know about these becuase Brian had (has) them too but his are in the space between his boy parts and his lower stomach. I think his has pretty much gone away as he hasn't mentioned anything in a few months. so my poor baby is having growing pains... well so is his mommy   3 yrs old already how is this possible

Also he had to have blood drawn and he did great even tho the girl lost the vein after the needle was in and even though he didn't move so instead of stick him again (he didn't cry the first time and barely flinched at all) she preceded to push in and out on the needle and wiggle it all around in his little arm (it was horible to watch) til she got the vein again then she left the turniq (sp?) on his arm tight and couln't figure out why his blood was only dripping until she finally pulled it off and his blood started gushing into the viles OY VEY!! but he still did great and never cried.

ok I really am going to bed   Have a great weekend and hopefully you can enjoy the spring without too much allergy problems or wind storms like us Ah the joys of Spring in the desert.
