| I am trying to get this blog out in fast action, ever since my youngest turned 4 he has decided that means ????? what I'm not sure but he keeps waking up in the wee hrs of the morning asking for prayer and that I come to bed with him, and how could I deny that sweet little boy, with his sleepy sweet little voice.... well I can't. So its been raining for about four hours so far... YAY! and no biggie you say well it is since its not supposed to stop all weekend and while I LOVE the rain , lets just get that clear in case you missed the memo, I also LOVE the Zoo and after my mom takes Brian and Ashie to the theatre on sat to see Mary Poppins, they are supposed to meet the rest of us at the L.A Zoo for a Members only Winter Wonderland Party called Merry Members Nights only this sat and sun, yeah right during the first and I'm sure one of few rainy weekends in sunny southern Cali. Saturday is of course my baby girls 7th bd so the Zoo is a special surpise for the kids. They may not know disappointment over this but I will :-/ I am praying for a break in the weather just for Saturday evening, hubby is working Sunday so we couldn't go that day its Sat or no day. ok Since I promised to tell you all how I was spoiled let me just do that. Well first lets talk about how my son was spoiled. First my mom took us out to Souplantation which my four yr old actually really enjoys, actually all my kids would rather eat there than many other places, if given the choice. So we ate Lunch and went to the Mall, Santa of course left 5 minutes before we got there, yeah you know he had to go feed his reindeers. So off to Old Navy where both my sons got very nice sweaters for $10 (well actually $7 +tax) we had coupons (lol are you surprised to hear that lol). Then to the Ornament Kiosk where my son picked out an ornament for himself and helped pick out one for each of his sisters, they personalized them and it was buy 2 get 1 free so another great deal  Then to build-a bear where my son just HAD to have a monkey and his Nana thought so too, So he stuffed him , squeezed him, kissed his heart before he was sewn closed, picked some snowman pj's and the named him Scooby and happily walked out the store with his new best friend (which Nana paid for, and, get ready for it .... and handed over the coupon lol) Then we went to a toy store where everything the sale is 50% off the price shown so he got a cute train9no coupon but 50% off was a great deal). By then Santa and his reindeer where well fed and Jai waited in line like a good boy, nicely, if shyly sat with Santa and tried his best to get a great picture for Nana, dumb flash kept messing with his eyes but they did get a good one of Santa reading a book to Jai and so Nana was happy as could be and bought the picture.....ok here is comes.... WITHOUT a coupon, yes some things in life are things you splurge on which is why its great to save when you can, because you can't always save but the picture of your youngest grandson after he had an awesome birthday sitting in Santa's lap is priceless Thank you mommy you made Jaidons birthday extra special and just because he got to be the big boy and hang out with you without fighting for your attention. oh and also that was day two of running around town with just big boy underwear on and noooo accidents YAY Jaidon! Whew! ok well now that I'm all teary from that memory that will never leave my mind or heart, I have a story too its like Jaidons but on the drive over to lunch My Mom gave me a present bag, lol yes a whole bag filled with presents. I got a beautiful ring with two hearts joined together and a awesome purple beaded necklace and some beautiful silver and amethyst earnings, a box with another silver and purple necklace and earings, a box with a silver chain and two heart charms one says mother and the other say daughter,a cd filled with the tranquil sounds of the sea, a small make-up type bag with some yummy smelling body scrub, body gel wash and a little travel pouf to keep me clean when I travel, a card with an extra present in it, that was a secret present just for me to know what was in it and then a VERY beautiful card that says "Happy birthday to one of the most special people in my life.... my wonderful daughter" and "You are awesome. I am so proud of the loving daughter & mother you are! May God Keep you in His loving arms always- Love you beyond belief- Dad & Mummsie (lol yes I'm not sure where she got that but she has started to sign everything from cards to txt messages - Mummsie lol its cute I think) See I told you all I was super spoiled with presents and love. Also for my birthday I got a card from my granparents (and and they added a lil present inside it) that was sooo beautiful , lol its like everyone just found the perfect cards this year, I mean I always love the cards the send but both cards actually made me cry they were so special and personal, even the printed message seemed like it was just for me from my family. And that Zoo membership we got well Grammy paid for that is was each of our birthday present, we actually called her from the Zoo, when we went with Ashies school and asked if she would because they had a special and all the money we paid that day to get in the Zoo could be transfered to the price of a family membership so it was really not expensive at all. I got cards handmade cards from my kids  and even with no money got a beautiful present from my hubby too. lol oh and even I bought myself something, for all you that are worried because you always see me in the winter with nothing warm on, when I was at Old Navy buying Brian a hoodie, I saw a zip-up sweatshirt, that was 50%, off & it is very thick and warm and comfy and with my 30% off coupon making it only $12 and some change I couldn't resist so bought it with my refund, that I have been saving for just an occasion wow ok well Jai must be asleep for the night as I haven't heard a sound out of him and I'm exhausted AND off to the mall and lunch again with my mom but this time with a different birthday child. Since Ashleigh is going to the theatre on her birthday my mom wants to do Santa and lunch with her, before her birthday I'm sure tomorrow will be another great and long day... I am hoping soon that I can finish decorating my house for Christmas, lol see this is why it needs to be done before thanksgiving or else it doesn't get done until almost christmas, lol between Brian, Jaidon and Ashie I think my mom wont want to see the Mall again until next December!! lol ok well Goodnight! |
